Department PhilosophyThe Trades & Industry Dept. believes that in order for society to function well, it must maintain a balance so that it is capable to care for all its needs. Therefore, their will always be need for a workforce with the hands-on skills to construct, manufacture and repair. Our goal is to accommodate the student who is not necessarily University bound, but wishes to pursue a career in the trades. As instructors, our contribution to society is to provide it with young people who are endowed with the skills and work ethic that will enable them to succeed as marketable and qualified technicians in the industry of their choice.
