El Dorado

Girls & Boys State is a summer program in which 11th-grade girls and boys focus on leadership skills and civic awareness. During the one-week summer program, students will run for office, develop public speaking skills, and participate in all aspects of developing a working government system.  Approximately one thousand boys and girls from California will participate.  This is also an excellent addition to your college and scholarship applications!

Students, please talk to your teacher if you are having trouble in any of your classes. There are many ways we can help you succeed in class. Parents are always welcome to call or email teachers. A staff directory is available online.
