El Dorado Union High School District families,

The application and course request form for the 2025-26 school year for EDUHSD Online is now available! This program is an exceptional educational option, having transformed tremendously over the past five years from "distance learning" (and formerly known as ODLP, Online Distance Learning Program). EDUHSD Online offers a comprehensive program for students looking to learn in an alternative environment. We offer interactive coursework with the flexibility to complete work from home. Students receive instruction in live-taught core academic classes Tuesday-Friday with highly qualified EDUHSD content-area teachers.

 

Electives are offered via independent study, but there is support and guidance for all courses available through daily office hours. Students still have the opportunity to access EDUHSD athletics and extracurricular activities at their high school of residence. You can review more information about this program by viewing this presentation. If you are interested or have further questions, please discuss this option with your student’s guidance counselor. 

The deadline to submit to your school counselor is Friday, May 2nd, 2025. The application and course request form is linked here. Applications should be submitted to your school counselor at your comprehensive high school of residence, whose contact info can be located here.

Please note that submission of an application does not guarantee enrollment, as there are class size limits and increasing interest in this program. Families will be notified via student and parent emails of placement by May 16, 2024.
