Some things to note:
  • Backpacks will not be needed.
  • Students will need to leave their phones, AirPods, headohones and any electronic devices at home, school, or on the bus.
  • Water bottles are encouraged.
  • We are providing lunch for students. Students with any dietary restrictions should bring a lunch that will work for them. Chaperones can pack a lunch to bring with them, or they are welcome to purchase food from the cafeteria.

If your middle school is not going as a group, this does not mean that your student can't attend. The student would need a chaperone for this event, and we ask that you contact our office to let us know that you are planning to attend. We will need a headcount for the students in attendance.

Please call Jessica Aguilar at (530)622-3634 ext. 1028 if you will be attending the 8th Grade Visit Day without a participating middle school.

Showcase Night: Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 5:30 pm

El Dorado High School will also be hosting our annual Showcase Night on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 5:30PM. This is an opportunity for students and parents to learn about available classes, programs, and athletics and to walk around and get better acquainted with our campus. We really hope you can make it!
